Gift Sheep Distribution in Yixian County

A sheep distributing ceremony was held in Zhonghuanghao Village of Yixian County on March 25 th , 2007 . The first 50 recipient families received 302 Small-tailed Han sheep which were donated by the Hong Kong Bank Foundation. Ms. Wang Ying and Li Yuan, Beijing representative of the Hong Kong Bank Foundation, Mr. Geng Shuqi, Deputy Director of Yixian Animal Husbandry Bureau, Ms. Song Jinpin, Consultant of Heifer International-China, local government officials and project recipients attended the ceremony. Recipient families expressed their heart-felt gratitude to the donors with joyful folk Yangge dance. After the ceremony the guests visited the newly renovated community cultural center and several project families.
