US Study Tour Visited Heifer China Program

From May 7 th to 24 th 2007, led by Wendy Peskin, the Northeast Regional Director of Heifer in US, a study tour group visited Heifer's project in China . The group is composed with 11 key donors from different regions of US. They visited Heifer China 's project in Miyun of Beijing, Songming, Baoshan, Shangri-la of Yunnan Province, and studied the project operation model and approaches. They also paid visit to the project families and participated in local community activities to learn different local cultures. Through this study tour, the participants brought the greetings and good wishes to the projct families and also took the experiences of what they saw and felt back to share with other Heifer supportors.
