Dairy Cow Cooperative in Barunbieli Town

The project site of Alxa Integrated Community Development Project (HPI-SEE) locates in Tiemuriwude Gacha (village), Alxa Prefecture of Inna Mongolia. The villigers used to be nomands and now they settled down responding to the nation's policy of returning the pasture to grassland. The tarlor was built and ready for project implementation.

This project is guilded by SEE and Heifer China , and led by the village committee. The parlor is planned, designed, built and monitored by villagers. After the project initiation, led by Kang Wei, Xinijang Regional Manager, 6 villigers representatives visited the dairy farms in Hongya County of Sichuan Province and learned from them.

You must be proud of farmers talent: the parlor was build in lines. The whole designing is all by the project famers after learning from Hongya and examing local condition. The dairy cow larlows will be complished in mid of June.
