Heifer in Hong Kong

Mr Antony Leung, the former Financial Secretary of Hong Kong, is now the Senior Managing Director and Chairman of Blackstone Greater China . Before he became the Financial Secretary in 2001, he was in senior managerial position in several international banks in Hong Kong .

Heifer Hong Kong was registered in 2000, which aimed to the public fundraising in Hong Kong and to motivate the general public/organizations in Hong Kong to support Heifer projects in China . Since 2005, Mr Leung has been the Chairman of Heifer Hong Kong board. His wife Fu Mingxia also became the ambassador of Heifer Hong Kong. Mr Leung kept making effort to expanding the publicity and influence of Heifer in Hong Kong, calling for the media attention and public promotion to help Hong Kong people to get to know the Heifer's idea of poverty alleviation and sustainable community development model. He has attended many activities of Heifer Hong Kong.
